Angels in Human form on Earth!
Question: Is it possible for angels to appear in human form and communicate with humans? Are there any examples in the Bible or other sources that support this belief?
Old Testament:
1. The Angel of the Lord appeared to Hagar in the wilderness - Gen 16:7-14; cf. 21:17.
2. Two angels together with the Lord appeared to Abraham - Gen 18:1-2
3. The same two angels appeared to Lot before destroying Sodom - Gen 19:1-22
4. In the New International Version of the Old Testament, angel appears 108 times.
Angels are frequently mentioned in the texts of the Old Testament because they are spiritual beings and servants of God who often deliver messages to humans in order to communicate the will of God.
What angels are mentioned in the New Testament?
The Protestant Bible provides names for five angels, "Michael the archangel" (Jude 1:9), the angel Gabriel, who is called "the man Gabriel" in Daniel 9:21, which are considered part of the standard New
Testament canon and Old Testament canon respectively (Google).
It should be noted, that all the Bible references to the above, are in the progression or protection of Israel; or the World’s people!
